The Liberty Advent Calendar needs no introduction. Every year, it cements its status as one of the most sought-after beauty advent calendars in the UK, and for a good reason too. Housed in its festive packaging that resembles the iconic Regent Street Liberty store, this year's offering is bigger and more impressive than ever. And guess what? Starting today, it's now available for purchase both online and in-store.
Trust me, as a self-proclaimed expert that can narrow down the best beauty advent calendars in my sleep, I've unpacked my fair share of numbered shelves and I definitely know a thing or two about what makes an advent calendar actually worth the splurge. After all, most options we've seen in 2023 are definitely on the pricier side, so it's only natural that some of us have a few reservations about committing to such purchases.
So what exactly makes the Liberty advent calendar 2023 different? Well, let's start with its worth. Packing a total of 29 beauty goodies (20 of which are full-size, btw) hidden behind 25 drawers, this advent calendar is worth a staggering £1,040 and retails for just £250. Why we love it: My favourite part is that apart from cult-favourite makeup, skincare, bodycare and haircare treats, you'll also get your hands on some new launches that are exclusive to the Liberty Beauty Advent Calendar, including a special preview of Liberty LBTY – the brand's new in-house fragrance collection (conjured up by some of the most esteemed perfumers in the industry). And as a perfume-obsessed beauty writer and someone who spends way too much time on #PerfumeTok, this is what excites me most about this particular advent calendar.
For all my fellow jewellery lovers, buckle up, because this year's Liberty Advent Calendar also includes an entry from Estella Barlett (for the first time ever).
